- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female offenders in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled "Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated August 2001, modified October 2, 2001. A requirements type contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 75% male and 25% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 20,440 for the base period; 11,315 for option period one; 12,410 for option period two; and 13,505 for option period three. The solicitation will be available on or after January 10, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the General ervices Administration's Fedearl Buiness Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be disbributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is March 11, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
