- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure Cover Paper Vintage Gloss (Potlatch), 26 inches x 40 inches, 480M, 129 lbs., White Gloss. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Businesses (see numbered note 1). The applicable NAICS (formerly SIC) code is 323119 and the associated Small Business Size Standard is 500. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ29-1LP00918. The total quantity is 100,000 sheets. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to the BEP Loading Dock at D Street, Between 13th and 14th Sts., S.W. Washington, D.C. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested SMALL BUSINESSES ARE REQUESTED TO SUBMIT A WRITTEN QUOTATION, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, business address, phone number , fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Contract please provide the contract number and expiration date. Quotations are due Thursday, May 09, 2002 by 5:30 p.m. Quotations may be faxed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Materials & IT Contracts Division, to the Attention of Ms. Rosher Gilbert at 202-874-3135 or by email to: rosher.gilbert@bep.treas.gov Any questions related only to this notice shall be faxed or e-mailed three (3) days prior to the due date.
