- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division has a need to assess the effectiveness of submarine and surface ship hydroacoustic silencing programs and identify silencing needs for current and future ships. Under the authority of FAR 6.302, NSWC has decided to solicite and negotiate with one source. ManTech Systems Engineering Corp. employs an extremly experienced senior individual. Specificaly, an individual with broad extensive knowledge and experience in ship acoustics, propulsor acoustics, propulsor hydrodynamics, and Large Scale Vehicle and full scale ship acoustic trials databases. NSWC intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for this R & D effort. (see numbered note 22)
