- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about May 20, 2002. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this project consists of the design and installation of six ADA compliant handicapped accessible lifts, one at each end of three trolley cars, including one closed, and two open trolley cars at Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell, MA. The lifts and ramps shall transport wheelchair passengers from ground level to the trolley cab/floor level. The items shall be designed to integrate with the existing historical trolleys. Lifts are to be mounted at each end of each trolley on the undercarriage with no impact on operation of trolleys and minimal impact on historic aesthetics. NAICS CODE 541420, $6.0 million.
