- NA Solicitation Number DAMT01-02-R-0060 (Tailored Transportation Contracts ?TTC) (Formerly known as Tailored Logistics Contract ? TLC, DAMT01-01-R-0196) Headquarters, Military Traffic Management Command, (MTMC) intends to issue a Full and Open Acquisition to provide Procurement of motor carrier transportation services, including accessorial service, to support Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) depots, military service installations, and vendors locations, transportation of material to include freight all kinds, and procurements third party logistics (3PL) company providing freight, transportation management and related services in support of installation transportation officers/traffic management officers and depot operations. MTMC expects to award a One Year, Firm Fixed Price, IDIQ/Requirements type Contract with four one year options; beginning approximately October 1, 2002. The contractor responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: (1) The contractor shall provide the necessary qualified labor force, equipment, and materials to handle freight of all kinds. The contractor is responsible for providing a full time staff to plan, organize, control in support of the various services. Th e contractor shall establish a Cargo Management System to insure the efficient movement and accountability of Truck Unloading and Loading Operations, Safety and Quality Control. (2) The North American Industrial Code for this acquisition is 484121, 484122, and 484130. This solicitation will be issued on or about June 4, 2002.
