METAL AIRSEAL RING 1.5 IN LONG X 32 IN. IN DIAMETER. IT IS APPROX .25 IN. THICK. SEAL HAS 38 EQUALLY SPACED TABS ON O.D. WHICH ENGAG NOTCHES IN THE TURBINE NOZZLE CASE TO PREVENT ROTATION WHEN INSTALLED. THE DIMENSIONS ARE APPROX 1.5 IN. X .32 IN. DIAMETER. THE MATERIAL IS NICKLE ALLOY. THE FUNCTION IS THE OUTER AIRSEAL INSTALLS IN TURBINE NOZZLE CASE TO PROVIDE DESRIED CLEARANCE ON 1ST STAGE TURB BLADES. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: NOV 2002, 54 ea. Qualification requirements: The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001 The approximate issue/response date will be 13 MAY 2002. The anticipated award date will be 25 JUNE 2002. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
