- In accordance with FAR Part 19.10 Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, Sub-Part 19.1007(b)(2) the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), located in Salem, Virginia is withdrawing Solicitation IFB 658-49-02 from full and open competition and setting this procurement aside for the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Program. The solicitation number is changed from IFB 658-49-02 to RFP 658-49-02 effective immediately. The VAMC Salem, VA seeks to negotiate a sole source procurement for Replacement of Cooling Tower Fill with Sweeney & Associates, Incorporated, 2231-B Patterson Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia 24016. The Contracting Officer and Point of Contact for this procurement has been changed to Christopher J. Grubbe, office telephone is (540) 983-1049 or FAX (540) 983-1065.
