- This is a synopsis for a commercial service. This announcement constitutes a synopsis only. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 811219 (size standard of $5.0M). The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, and transportation required to maintain and repair Government Owned Film Processors and Developers. Required services will consist of scheduled Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI?s), all intervening repair services, replacement of worn or defective parts, and recovery of electrolytic silver, F.O.B. Destination, for the participating VA Healthcare facilities. The intended contract will be for a base period of one year with the government?s option to extend the contract in one-year increments for four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation issue date will be on or about 1 May 2002 with proposals due on or about 31 May 2002 (4:00PM).
