- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command proposes to solicit on a sole source basis to M & I Electric Industries, Inc. for a Firm Fixed Price contract for 1 WLB Class Modified Ship Service Switchboard. This equipment was custom made by M & I Electric industries and installed on the WLB-class vessels. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The period of performance for this contract will be 12-14 weeks after approval of drawings by USCG. Delivery is to be FOB Destination to Training Center Yorktown. The NAICS Code of 335313 is assigned. The size standard is 750 employees. The type of contract will be a Firm Fixed Price with commercial provisions IAW FAR Part 12. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE NOTIFIED THAT THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE INTERNET ON OR ABOUT 08 MAY 2002.
