Description
The U. S. Department of Energy, National Energy Technology Laboratory, Pittsburgh PA issued this synopsis/solicitation for a Pfeiffer Vacuum PT M73 112 ThermoStar portable compact benchtop mass spectrometer system capable of measuring gases with massses up to 300 AMU. Contains all of the necessary components to sample from atmospheric pressure and has an inert fused silica capillary inlet to prevent reactions with hot gases. It is capable of monitoring CO2, SO2, and NOx from a particle -free flue gas. With the following features:(1); Lightweight: 45 kg; (2) Compact: 280x420x720 mm; (3) Small power consumption of 620 W; (4) 1 year warranty; (5) 2 Day installation with training; (6) RS-232C/Arcnet interface for easy data acquisition; (7) Fast and continuous analysis of gases; (8) ppm detection limits; (9) Mass range 1- 300 amu; (10) Quadropole mass spectrometer system with closed ion source (11) Faraday and SEM detectors, 2 Tungsten filaments; (12) Turbomolecular pumping system with dry diaphragm backing pump; (13) PKR 251 full range gauge for filament and SEM protection; (14) Diagnostic mode to read turbo speed and turbo draw current; (15) Temperature controlled to 200EC, 1 meter (option for 2 meter); (16) Fused silica capillary inlet to prevent condensation; (17) Gas flow rate of 1 to 2 sccm; (18) Integral bakeout jacket; (19) 2 analog outputs, -5... +5 V DC (Option for 4); (20) 2 analog inputs -5... +5 V DC, Suitable for Process Monitoring; e.g., pressure, temperature, gas flow, etc; (21) 2 digital relay outputs for switching functions; (22) 2 digital relay inputs for filament protection, start/stop, etc; (23) Quadstar 422 software with process control module and quantitative analysis module OR EQUAL. Ouantity of one (1) each. To be delivered to Department of Energy's, National Energy Technology Laboratory, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The solicitation number is DE-RQ26-02NT200269. This announcement constitutes both notification and solicitation. All in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12, Commercial Item Acquisition. Offers shall include descriptive literature containing sufficient technical literature to establish a bonafide capacity of meeting the RFQ requirements.
