Description: The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Thomas Scopp, 2947 Marsh Hawk Drive, Waldorf, MD 20603 for assistance in the development of industry and occupation crosswalks between 1990 and 2000, preparing a technical document describing the crosswalks, conducting and documenting an evaluation of converting the occupation index to the SOC, and providing advice on I&O issues for the Housing and Household Economic Statistics Division through May 31, 2003. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive bids; no solicitation will be issued.
