- Description
- Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, single award, Cost Plus Fixed Fee - Award Term contract. Base period is five years. This will be a Performance Based Service Contract with provisions for additional award terms. The contractor shall provide engineering and technical services to NUWC Division Newport detachments at Kings Bay, GA, and Bangor, WA and other on-site offices. These services include: engineering, analysis, technical training and logistic support for the installation, test, operation, maintenance, configuration control of system modifications, revisions and upgrades of Command and Control Systems (CCS), components and related systems installed aboard submarines and shore sites (e.g., trainers). The efforts envisioned are mainly concerned with Ohio Class submarines but may also include SSNs and SSGNs. LOE over five years is up to 310,200 total manhours. Skills include program managers, analysts, engineers, configuration management specialists, logisticians and word processors. Selection will be best value based on technical capability and realistic cost. Technical capability comprises past performance, personnel, technical approach, and management approach. This is a follow-on effort to contract N66604-98-D-0085 with TSM Corp of Bartlett, TN (small). Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
