Description
Vertical Roll Mill Requirements: Used or Remanufactured Vertical Three Roll Calendar Mill including all safety required modifications (Teflon disks, sealed guards, bellows covered adjusting screws etc.). Explosion Proof 10 hp 208/230/ 460 volt motor. Hand wheel single point gap adjustment. Gear Train Drive. Unit, including rotary joints rated to operated at 200˚F. Two (2) spring loaded ?doctor knives? capable of being positioned at six (6) different locations. Electromechanical gapping gauges located at the four (4) adjustment points. Temperature Control System (for 3 roll mill) Temperature range 28 to 200 degrees C. 5 to 10 liter bath volume. 230 volt power supply. Size Maximum foot print / size: 60?W x 60? D x 78?H. Roll mill size 6? x 13?. Temperature range: ambient to 200˚F. Electrical Power requirements 208/230/460 single phase, 60 Hz, 30 ? 50 Amp. Intrinsically safe Secondary control system (for energetic operations) located off the roll mill. Safety Class 1, Group D, and Class II, Groups E, F and G. Over the roll safety cable with micro switch. Braking system (remotely capable). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifthteen days will be reviewed. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
