- Description
- Provide A/E design services to prepare Environmental Improvements at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, Maine. Design work to include, sand/salt storage building, modification to the existing oxidation ditch, survey the need for tertiary treatment to remove copper from the waste system, remove and replace copper waste piping contributing to high waste copper levels, lead paint abatement in Quarters #69 for the exterior shell, and perform environmental station wide audit for compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations for the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (MDEP). Due to time restraint, this announcement is restricted to A/E firms in Maine. Firms interested shall submit two copies of Standard Forms 254 and 255 by close of business May 8, 2002 to the Contracting Officer shown above. Estimated Construction Range is $250,000 to $500,000. Selection criteria will be based on (1) Specialized experience of the firm with similar contracts; (2) Past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) Geographical location and facilities of the working office; (4) Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to this project. This procurement is set-aside for Small Emerging Business. NAICS is 541310 and the size standard is $4.0 million. This is not a request for Proposal.
