- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Boise, Idaho intends to solicit and negotiate sole source procurement with Steris Corporation, 5960 Heisley Rd., Mentor, OH 44060 to provide two Steris System I Sterile Processing System. The cost will include, delivery, end user training plus a separate bio-medical training program and installation manual. This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract to Steris Corporation. The Steris System I Sterile Processing System meets the government?s minimum needs of being low temperature, rapid sterilization processing system that is self-contained with a thirty minute process, sterilization at the patient?s examination site; eliminates exposure to harmful chemicals and vapors; eliminates the use of glutaraldehyde and is considered environmentally safe. All concerns able to meet the above requirements are required to submit a response with convincing information that identifies their product?s capabilities. In addition, the offeror must substantiate their offer with technical data, brochures, price list or catalogs, terms and conditions, delivery scheduled, discounts, etc. If this commodity is available under GSA contract, please provide the GSA schedule. All responses must be received in writing to: Jane Holt (90B), A&MM Service, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702. Faxed or email proposal are not accepted. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered nonresponsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, completed with resulting award under the simplified acquisition procedures. Responsible firms responding to this synopsis will be considered if the action is competed. This is a one-time procurement.
