Description
The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following equipment: NSN 2040-01-121-8029, RUDDER HUB FOR 270 FOOT, B CLASS, WMEC COAST GUARD VESSEL, QUANTITY: 4 EACH. All items shall be manufactured in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Drawing Number 905-WMEC-562-001, REV. C. Drawings are available and shall be released from this office, upon request. All manufacturing details, including special accessories/features of each item, are listed on each referenced drawing. Items are used onboard the 270 Foot, B Class, WMEC Coast Guard vessels. A Pre-Award Survey Visit/First Article Inspection/Approval and Quality Assurance Inspection shall be required. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. First Article Inspection shall be required no later than 30 days after award. Production items shall be required no later than 120 calendar days after First Article approval. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for non-commercial item(s) prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See Numbered Note 12. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 332911 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.
