- Description
- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a one year sole source firm fixed price contract to the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, Center for Research in Security Prices, 725 Sough Wells Street, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60607 for the U.S. Stock Database, U.S. Indices Database and Security Portfolio Assignment Module, CRSP U.S. Treasury Database and CRSP/Compustat Merged Database. The University of Chicago will supply the SEC with a database that provides U.S. stock prices, volume and return data on common stocks listed on NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq, with basic market indices. The daily database will provide end-of-day data, and the monthly database will provide month-end data. Historical data will be available for all exchanges on a monthly and daily basis. The database will provide market indices on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual frequency.
