- NOTE THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASSIDE. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound has a fuel hauling service requirement for Government owned Aviation Turbine Fuel (JP5). The services shall be performed in Guam . Contractor will be required to provide all labor and equipment to deliver Governemnt owned Aviation Turbine Fuel (JP5) to various locations on the island of GUAM. This requirement is for a base and two option years. The period of performance for the base year will be 01 June 2002 through 31 May 2003. The acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12 Commercial Acquisition. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 01 May 2002 with quotes due on or about 09 May 2002. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to brad_e_demers@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
