Description

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to issue an unrestricted solicitation for a firm fixed price, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type contract for Integrated Automotive Supply Services at the Public Works Center Great Lakes, Great Lakes, IL. The selected contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supplies, equipment, management, supervision, and reports necessary to maintain an adequate supply of all parts and equipment needed to accomplish the repairs of the Transportation Department fleet of automobiles, medium and heavy trucks, tractors, trailers, buses, industrial and construction equipment. The Contractor may also be required to supply specialty items for specialty equipment such as fire equipment, playground equipment, tools, toolboxes, and lawn and garden equipment and parts. The selected contractor must also insure a distribution and delivery system is in place in accordance with the contract requirements. The selected contractor will be required to maintain and perform in a Contractor Operated Parts Store (COPARS) located in the Transportation Department of the Navy Public Works Center, Great Lakes, IL, Bldg. 1506. Requests for a copy of the RFP should be made by letter or tele-fax to the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia Bid Officer, Fax No.(215) 697-9738. The RFP will also be made available electronically at either http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration.
