- Description
- Work includes the removal of trees, brush, and vegetation to create a clear zone 20' in width, 10' on each side of the fence and to a vertical height of 30'. All trees will be cut into manageable lengths and placed inside the secured area next to where they were cut, all brush will be placed inside the secured area in the form of brush piles. This will be competitively bid procurement for a firm-fixed price contract. Award will based on low responsive, responsible bid. The time for completion is 30 days. The estimated cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. The NAICS Code for this project is 23599. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7) availability of the solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil (website). Hard copies (paper sets) of the solicitation WILL NOT be provided by the Government. This solicitation is advertised in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the website. The official plan holder?s list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. -- Plan holders list WILL NOT be faxed and will only be available from the website. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete name, company mailing address and area code and phone number, offeror type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier or plan room), e-mail address and size (large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, women owned small business or other). ?
