- THIS MODIFICATION IS TO REQUEST VENDORS TO PROVIDE QUOTATION FROM FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE AND TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE TO RECEIVE QUOTATIONS TO 05/08/2002. The U.S. Geological Survey, Northern Appalachian Research Laboratory, located eight miles west of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania has a requirement to FURNISH AND INSTALL A SECURITY SYSTEM to include 1) Building Access Control, 2) Burglar Alarm, and 3) Fire Alarm for main laboratory building which would be managed from a single computer control center. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD OF $100,000 and solicited by written Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 02ERQQ0082. The anticipated award date is 05/17/2002. Sic code is 7382 and NAICS code is 561621. Quotes are due at 2:00 p.m. on 05/06/2002. All responsible sources that have a valid Dun & Bradstreet Number may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency.
