- NA The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue solicitation; Request for Quotes (RFQ) DADW35-02-T-0128 on or around 10 May 2002. The solicitation is being issued for a contractor to provide all labor, mater ial, equipment, tools, and supervision required to perform work, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable plans. The contractor shall be responsible for delivery, supply, stockpile, and spreading of stone aggregate, gravel, and sand through out the designated locations on the Fort A.P. Hill Installation, Bowling Green, Virginia. This RFQ is restricted to 100% Small Business Set Aside. The SIC is 1429 with a size standard of 500. The NAISC is 212319. The acquisition method utilized will be in accordance with FAR 12 Commercial Item procedures. The anticipated contract will be awarded to the apparent lowest quote and will result in a Firm Fixed Price requirements type contract with one base year and two option years. The period of performan ce for the base year will be 365 days or (12) twelve months from the date of contract award. In the event that the Governemnt elects to exercise the option years, each year shall consist of an additional 365 days or (12) twelve month period. CLINs will c onsist of Sizes 1, 21A, 26, 357, 57, 1, 21A, 10 Dust, 8, 56 Washed, 78, 68, 26, 357, 15 Sand Type A, RIP-RAP Class I. All items shall conform to the Virginia Highway size standards and additional specifications listed under Section C and C-1 in the solici tation. All CLINS are based on estimated quantities only and will be ordered on an as needed basis by the issuance of delivery orders against the resulting contract. The contractor shall be responsible for compliance with all Federal, State and Local reg ulations, licenses, applicable laws, and statutes. The solicitation and all will be issued via the World Wide Web. When the solicitation is issued on or about 10 May 2002, it can be accessed on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://ac quisition.army.mil/. The Government will Not provide hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the RFQ. Additionally, no paper copies of the solicitation or any amendments will be faxed or mailed. No further public announcements will be made. Contactors are advised to periodically check the aforementioned website for amendments or other updates on or about 10 May 2002. No solicitation mailing list will be compliled or published. Failure to provide all requested information on the solicitation to include fi ll in clauses and provisions may result in a determination of the contractor being deemed nonresponsive. All prospective offerors must be CCR registered.
