Description
NA HEARTSVILLE COULEE DIVERSION, EAST GRAND FORKS, MN. Principle features of work include all plant, labor , materials and supplies required for construction of approximately 15,700 linear feet of earth levees, 1 mile of diversion channel, on highway bridge, 2 gravity outlets each with 2-72 inch sluice gates, 4 roal raises, and assoicated items. Estimated order of magnitude of the requirement is more than $10,000,000. North American Industry Classification System--NAICS Code is 234990; the Small Business Size Standard is $28,500,000. In the event the slected bid exceeds $1,000,000 and is from a l arge business, it will be necessary for that firm to submit a subcontracting plan that is acceptable to the Government proior to award. For the purposes of formulating a subcontracting plan, in the event one is necessary, the following subcontracting goal s are provided for the bidders' information: Small Business-61.4%, Small Disadvantaged Business-9.1%; Veteran-Owned Small Business-3%; Women-Owned Small Business-5%;HUBZone Small Business-Maximum percentage Practicable; and Subcontract Reporting SF294 & 2 95-100%. These are goals, not quotas. Each subcontracting plan will be evaluated on its own merits and take into consideration the subcontracting opportunities available for this type of work. It is anticipated that sealed bid solicitation DACW37-02-B-0 009 will be posted on the US Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District World Wide Web site on or about 30 April 2002 with an opening 31 May 2002. The official solicitation is available only by CD-ROM. Ordering of the CD-ROM shall be made by registering fo r it at the above web site. An unofficial version of the solicitation will be posted on the District's website. HOWEVER, ANY FORTHCOMING AMENDMENTS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ON THIS WEB SITE. E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE SENT UPON ISSUANCE OF ANY AMENDMENT S TO ALL REGISTERED FIRMS. DUE TO E-MAIL MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS MAY NOT BE RELIABLE BASED ON SYSTEM CONSTRAINTS, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT EACH REGISTERED FIRM CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES.
