Description
NA Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to: bidtech at bidtech@usace.army.mil. The Seattle District has a requirement for InSitu Thermal Remediation. This includes providing all services and supplies and install all required p lant to operate and maintain an In-Situ Thermal Remediation system for the treatment of solvent containated soil and groundwater. The purpose is of the treatment is to remove/reduce non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) from soil and groundwater which serves as a source of groundwater contaimination at the East Gate Disposal Yard, Logistics Center Superfund Site, Ft. Lewis, WA. All NAPL mobilized as a result of the treatment shall be destroyed and/or contained during the thermal remediation process. Vapor and gro undwater monitoring will be required to monitor system performance and regulatory maximum contaminant levels Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price service contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562211and the Standard Industry Classification Code (SIC) is 4953 with size standard of $10.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as a Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U.S . Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments. The so licitation will be available for download on or about 14 May 2002.
