Description

NA This notice is modification 8 to pre-solicitation notice posted October 22, 2001 (Posted dates of modifications 1 (11/15/01); 2 (11/21/01); 3 (2/13/02); 4 (3/1/02); 5 (4/2/02)); 6 (4/9/02) and 7 (4/13/02). Offerors who plan to hand deliver proposals for Objective Force Warrior need to allow extra time due to heightened security measures at the U.S. Army Soldier Biological & Chemical Command, Natick. Any offeror hand delivering its proposal, must plan for an additional 35-45 minutes to get through a vehic le search prior to being allowed onto the post. All vehicles passing onto the post are searched thoroughly under the hood, trunk, and interiors including glove compartments. Cartons will be opened. Please coordinate any such hand delivery of proposals w ith the Agreements Officer, Mrs. Judith L. Uthoff at 508-233-4337 or e-mail Judi.Uthoff@natick.army.mil prior to May 1st. The Agreements Officer will meet your delivery person at the back gate when such arrangements have been previously coordinated. All individuals shall be identified by name to the Agreements Officer prior to arrival at the gate and shall be U. S. citizens. Delivery individuals shall be required to show positive identification with a picture (valid driver?s license or passport acceptab le). All offerors hand delivering proposals shall proceed on Kansas Street past the main entrance to the commercial delivery gate (can?t go any further on Kansas Street). Arrangements will be coordinated by the Agreements Officer with Security officials. A specific delivery time is recommended. A hand-dolly will be available to assist delivery to the third floor of the Headquarters Building.
