Description

NA This pre-solicitation and solicitation synopsis is for construction to renovate the locker rooms/restrooms, showers, in Bldg 9 at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Work to include, but is not limited to: providing, including maintenance and removal, a temporary showe r/toilet trailer; selective demolition of existing restroom facilities; modification of existing layout; replacement of plumbing fixtures and selective piping; installation of new floor, wall, ceiling; modifications to fire alarm system, ventilation equipm ent; electrical modifications and repairs; incidental related work and cleaning. Estimated magnitude is between $250,000-$500,000. This action is unrestricted. NAICS is 23331, average annual receipts $28.5 million. Solicitation number DAAB17-02-B-0008 applies. This solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be issued electronically only. Any amendments will also be issued electronically only. No paper or disc will be available. Issue is in accordance with FAR 4.502, 5.102(d), and 14.2 05-1(a). Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after issue date at the following internet address: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. At the ABOP, at NEW USERS follow instructions to register. After obtaining a password (usually provided within 24 hours), go the the ABOP and, under ARMY SOLICITATIONS, SELECT CECOM. View solicitation by All Business Opportunities by Number and select DAAB17-02-B-0008. It is incumbent that any interested sources periodically access the internet site to ob tain any amendments. Failure to obtain amendments and acknowledge amendments by the time set for bid opening may result in rejection of your bid. Due to the use of electronic solicitation, the Government is unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Bid ders are encouraged to register as a potential source for this solicitation (see top of screen for POTENTIAL SOURCES) and to view the registered firms under the Potential Sources logo on the internet site. Bidders are further notified that bids must be su bmitted in HARD COPY ONLY. ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated issue/opening dates are 15 MAY 2002/17 JUN 2002. Actual issue and open dates shall be as established in the solicitation.
