- Description
- The USDA, ARS, has a requirement for installation of (9) Government furnished generators, and transfer switches at various sites at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, Beltsville, Maryland. The performance period is 120 days. The order of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is solicited under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR Subpart 19.10) on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS Code is 235310 with a small business size standard of $12.0 M average annual receipts for prior 3 yrs. This is an Invitation For Bid (IFB) using procedures from FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms of the IFB and is most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price related factors. The solicitation (12-3K47-02) will be available to interested parties through electronic data interchange only. Internet address is http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Notification of any changes (amendments) to this solicitation shall be made via the Internet. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the Internet site for any posted changes to the solicitation. The solicitation will be released (ready for downloading) on or about May 21, 2002, with bids due on or before June 20, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. A public bid opening will be held. A site visit is scheduled for May 30, 2002, at 1:00 p.m., meeting at Bldg. 003, Rm. 329, BARC-West. The government recommends that contractors bidding on this project visit the site. All responsible contractors may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the Government. Anticipated award is Jun 25, 2002.
