Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation, services and materials required for the performance of all work associated with installing of carpet tile at the Northern California TRACON (NCT), 11375 Douglas Road in Mather, CA (NOTE: The 24 hour operational area controlling air traffic is next to the construction area). The Contractor shall, in strict accordance of the specifications and drawings, provide all materials associated with such work. Work shall include, carpet installation in the operations room and surrounding areas and the Electronics Equipment Room. This area is comprised mostly of access flooring with a small area of concrete floor. FAA Carpet Installation Drawing will be provided for area identifications. The contractor is responsible for calculating total areas to determine quantity of materials needed. A MANDATORY site visit will be conducted on May 6, 2002 at 9:00 am. Contractors must submit to the Contracting Representative Andre Clark (310)725-7547, the names, driver license number, date of birth and company name being represented for each individual attending the site visit no later than May 2, 2002 at 2:00 pm. Upon arrival at the site, a picture ID is required. Awards will be based on “Best Value” to the FAA giving due consideration to: (1) Total Cost to the FAA, (2) Past Performance and Experience for the same or similar work, and; (3) Financial and Bonding Capability. North American Industry Code (NAIC) for this project is 235520. SOLICITAITONS MUST BE REQUESTED BY 05/01/02. ANY REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE, REGARDLESS OF HOW TRANSMITTED, WILL NOT BE HONORED. Requests for a Solicitation Package must identify the Solicitation Number and should be made in writing to Western-Pacific Regional Office, Acquisition Management Branch, AWP-55, P.O.
