- NA The Georeferenced Integrated Multimedia Support System/Digital Mapping and Reconnaissance Tool (GIMMSS/DMRT) is a system that incorporates the use of ground, air, and waterborne GPS-equipped video/still digital cameras to rapidly collect, process, and diss eminate non-standard near real-time georeferenced integrated multimedia products to support: Force protection Exercises Map updates Contingency operations GIMMSS/DMRT uses extensive immerse still/video, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware/software to collect, process, and disseminate multimedia georeferenced products. GIMMSS/DMRT requires a comprehensive basic, intermediate, and advanced DMRT program of instruction (POI). The DMRT POI must use the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Army Systems Approach to Training (ASAT) in the development of the DMRT POI. The POI must support Windows 95/98/2000 and ME OS systems.
