- NA This project is for the design and construction of a new 1,280 total gross square meter School-Age Child Development Facility. The new facility is located between Rodman Avenue and the Moline Pool, adjacent to the existing Confederate Cemetery on 2.73 hec tares. The site shall be completely developed for the required utilities, water, sanitary sewer, gas, communications, underground electrical, Cable Television (CATV), storm drainage, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, parking, access drives, fencing, exterior lighting, site improvements, traffic signal control, playground area, grading, and general landscaping. Sitework shall also include general demolition of the area. There are no existing structures to be removed. The existing trees shall be removed only as necessary. The building will be complete with architectural, electrical, communications, fire protection and detection, plumbing, HVAC, Energy Management, lighting, CATV, security, and closed circuit television (CCTV) systems. Bid Options will be established for concrete-encased electrical conduit, sidewalks, overhead coiling and sliding glass doors, playground surface and equipment, storm sewer system, extended fire system piping and hydrant, and extended landscaping. Proposals received from this solicitation will be evaluated for best value (not necessarily low price) to the Government in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Construction & Design Past Performance, Construction Experience, Design Experience, Individual Experience, Management Approach, Schedule, Organization Chart, and Self-Performed Work. This project is available by downloading from the Internet only.
