- Description
- The Navajo Area Indian Health Service is soliciting proposals from interested physicians to provide professional healthcare services to eligible Native American Indians and Alaskan natives who are Indian Health Service (IHS) eligible beneficiaries. Services to be provided in Contractor's facilities or hospitals where physicians have staff privileges. In accordance with the IHS Payment Policy, IHS will contract only with those provider who will accept, as payment in full, reimbursement at rates no higher than the prevaling Medicare allowable rates (including deductibles and co-payments). Proposals under this solicitation will be considered through December 31, 2003. Anticipated issued date is April 25, 2002. Multiple awards will be made for a twelve-months period with four (4) one year option periods.
