- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 2879 and the NAICS Code is 5419. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order, on a sole source basis, for the requirement for the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets to collect samples of domestic pesticides for surveillance that may contain potential undeclared color and food additives. This includes the State inspectors to completing a modified FDA collection report for each sample collected. The New York Department of Agriculture and Markets has the regulatory authority that is necessary to gain access to establishments from which these samples will be collected. The Period of Performance shall be from date of award to September 30, 2002.
