- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking information on a turn key Automated Appointment Reminder System (AARS) for scheduled visits to SSA offices. This AARS must be capable of: 1) Making up to 30,000 calls per day within the United States and Puerto Rico; 2) Making calls up to1 minute in length and delivering up to 7 different messages; 3) Delivering a reminder that includes the date and time of the appointment as well as one of 1500 office addresses; 4) Retrying the call after encountering a busy signal or ring no answer; 5) Leaving a message after encountering voice mail or an answering machine; 6) Making the calls between 10:00am and 9:00pm of the receiving party?s time zone; 7) Downloading all appointment information and office address information that will be stored in a flat ASCII text file on SSA's IBM compatible mainframe computers; and 8) Providing Management Information (MI) regarding the number of calls made, the completion rate, the busy rate, and the like. Vendors must provide all hardware, software, design, project management, implementation, and maintenance of this system. The system must be located at a vendor provided site(s). SSA will provide and pay for all telephone line and line charges associated with this AARS. Vendors capable of satisfying the AARS requirements are invited to submit information on their suggested solution including product literature, company experience, customer references, and GSA or commercial prices. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to SCHEDULE REMINDER. Responses must be in writing and should be submitted to the address cited above by SSA's close of business on May 06, 2002. The Government does not intend to pay for information received.
