- Description
- Single award term contract in each of six categories for the Internal Revenue Service. Beginning Date of Award and ending May 31, 2003, with four option years. These specifications cover the production of camera ready art from manuscript copy requiring such operations as composition, electronic prepress, proofing, laser copies, and electronic image processing. Also required is the conversion of IRS printed forms into fillable OmniForm (OFM) files plus the creation of corresponding electronic files in fillable Portable Document Format (PDF). The OmniForm file must be OCR character, ruler, and graphic editable, so as to permit IRS personnel the capability of editing and revising the digital files. FREQUENCY OF ORDERS: Category 1 - Atlanta, GA area; approximately 500 orders per year; Category 2 - Dallas, TX area; approximately 300 orders per year; Category 3 - Washington, DC area; approximately 300 orders per year; Category 4 - Lanham, MD area; approximately 300 orders per year; Category 5 - Oakland, CA area; approximately 300 orders per year; and Category 6 - Covington, KY area; approximately 300 orders per year. Approximately 20% of the orders will be Composition and 80% of the orders will be Conversion of Products. Complete production and delivery is within 3 to 8 workdays.
