- Combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item. DESCRIPTION AND ATTACHMENT(s): Provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, for the installation of landscaping materials. The government will be building a gazebo complete. Additionally, the government will be providing access to electricity at the gazebo for the contractor to use for installing irrigation system controllers. The government will be removing the prairie grass and grading the area in which the sod and shrubs will be installed. Contractor will install (Sod and shrubs). Two inches of topsoil will be worked into the existing soil in the areas to be graded by the government. Topsoil total is approximately 250 CY. The project shall include the furnishing and installation of all shrubs, annuals, biennials and perennials; installation of all planting beds; installation of irrigation systems; installation of mulch beds and installation of Legacy buffalo turf sod; and asphalt path for F E Warren AFB, WY. Faxed or telegraph offers will not be accepted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. Solicitation F48608-02-Q-0009 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (FAR Clauses may be found by accessing WEB site at: farsite.hill.af.mil/ffar1.htm. NAICS Code is 56173 (SIC is 0782). The solicitation is restricted to Small Business. Refer to Attachment 3 for items, quantities and units of measure. Anticipated award date is 26 April 02. Project must be complete NLT 03 July 2002. Plant materials may be stored adjacent to the site. The provisions at FAR 52.222-41 -- Service Contract Act of 1965,52.212-1, Instructions to Offer(s)--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. A completed, signed copy to this provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be submitted with any offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
