- Description
- The project consists of construction of two composting toilets buildings, each with photovoltaic systems, three vault toilet buildings, demolition of three toilet comfort stations, demolition of five vault toilets, and reconstruction of a waste disposal site. The composting buildings will house three digester units. One composting building located at North Waldo Campground and at Shadow Bay Campground. Two vault toilets will be located at Islet Campground and one at Shadow Bay Campground. Waldo Lake can be located by traveling approximately 80 miles east of Eugene, Oregon on Highway 58 the North of Highway 58 approximately 7 miles on Forest Service Road 5897, Willamette National Forest. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project is total HUBZone Small Business Concern Set-Aside. Offers from other than certified HUBZone contractors will not be considered. Contract performance time is 105 calendar days. Estimated start work date is June 17, 2002.
