Description
NA Notice to Industry: DTRA will host an Acquisition Strategy Panel meeting for the Nuclear Technology Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts on 22 Apr from 1000-1200 at the DTRA Modular Complex, Ft. Belvoir, VA. This will be the decision meeting for finalizing the acquisition strategy and business approach for the Nuclear Technology work. This represents the first time industry has been invited to attend a DTRA Acquisition Strategy Panel. The purpose is to allow Industry an opportunity to obser ve how the DTRA decides on its acquisition approach. The discussion will center on key issues that will determine the nature of the resulting Request for Proposal and the decision process. In order to attend, Industry will be required to call the POC listed below to secure a seat. Each Industry participant must be in place by 0945 in order to attend. For those who are not able to attend, based on seating limitations, the charts will be posted on the TD IDIQ web page. Please contact Mr. Elwood Townsend at (703)325-1178 or Libby Smith at (703) 325-1175 to reserve a seat. You will need to provide the following information: Name, Company employed by, phone number, official title, and whether your participation in this c ompetitive requirement will be in the capacity of a prime or as a subcontractor. Seating is limited, only one person per company may request a seat. If seats are filled and additional companies wish to participate, the final list of attendees may be bala nced to allow for broader attendance by Industry. Reservations may need to be limited to a specific number of people per proposed prime/subcontractor team. If you are not on the list with a reservation, you will not be allowed to attend. The Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters Complex (McNamara Building) is located on Ft Belvoir, VA. It can be located just off of the Fairfax County Parkway, about 1 mile north of it's junction with Rt 1. Take Kingman Street north and park in the large p arking lot near the modular office complex (DTRA offices). There will be a sign-in just inside the door facing the Defense Logistics Agency (outside stairway leads up to main floor entrance).
