Interior repairs include: patching building wall and beams including the removal of all deteriorated concrete and reinforcing steel, cleaning of existing reinforcing steel and the installation of new concrete, reinforcing steel and painting. Exterior repairs include: repairing exterior cracks - at approximately seven (VIF) locations existing cracks in the existing concrete wall are to be saw cut the full height of the concrete to form a new caulking reglet. The reglet is to be caulked and the concrete portion of the exterior wall painted. Demolition work includes: demolition of existing concrete and steel beam deck over part of the basement in Building No.4 and the replacement with new concrete deck, steel beams, waterproofing and wearing surface. Existing storm water drains are in this area and are to be capped off and reconnected. The new concrete topping is configured to sheet-drain storm water. The existing toilet under the deck is to remain and shall be protected. The existing toilet will have a new acoustical tile ceiling and all walls are to be painted. The existing lighting is to be removed, stored, cleaned and reinstalled in new suspension grid. The work includes: installation of a new waterproofing system including cleaning the existing substrates, new membranes, flashings, counterflashings, new asphalt paving, site concrete, steel pipe guardrail and steel rails for existing dumpsters.
