- Description
- The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Special Readiness Services International (SRSI) Corporation for training services. The requirement is for an advanced course of instruction in Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security and Tactical Survivability. Training will be conducted on board a Navy Vessel in San Diego, CA within 30 days after award. Simplified Acquisition procedures authorized under FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be used to award this contract with an anticipated award date of May 1, 2002. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms that believe they can provide the services described above are encouraged to identify themselves and gi ve written notification to the Contracting Officer, providing supporting evidence of their capability to fulfill this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Solicitation documents will not be issued; however, an informational copy of the solicitation will be available at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) World Wide Web site (http://www.neco.navy.mil) on or about April 19, 2002. This contract will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, under Standard Industrial Code 8299 and NAICS Code 611699, with a small business standard of $6 Mil.
