- The Government intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price modification to purchase order N66604-02-M-0114 with Avionics Test & Analysis Corp. (ATAC) of Niceville, FL, This requirement is for the contractor to continue efforts to perform software engineering (design, development, implementation, integration and testing) to resolve/correct the problems documented by approved STR(s) that are provided as Government Furnished Information and develop the required documentation to support changes directed by STRs as approved by the NUWCDIVNPT Configuration Review Board (CRB). FAR Parts 12 and 13 apply. ATAC is the only qualified vendor at this time to perform this requirement in the required timeframe because ATAC has expertise from previous contract efforts that provides them with the knowledge and experience of specific NTProbe, Mk54 torpedo, and Mk 48 torpedo integration and analysis issues. Anticipated award date is 23 Apr 2002. Delivery is F.O.B. destination, Newport, RI for efforts to be completed by 30 September, 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the government. Telephone requests will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
