Description

NA Notice of Intent to Issue a Sole Source Purchase Order: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announc ement constitutes the intentions of Headquarters, US Army Intelligence and Security Command to enter into an award with Communications Solutions, Inc on a sole source basis and is in the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written so licitation will not be issued. Alternate items will not be considered. This NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The Purchase Request Number W81GNX-2067-2002, is provided for identification purposes only. This is a 100% set-asid e for small business, NAICS Code 334290 Small Business Size Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. All quotations received within 3 days of publication of this synopsis will be cons idered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for t he purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SI C) code is 3669. The solicitation consists of the following: CLIN 0001 , 3001 VME PULSE ANALYZER, 1 each, CLIN 0002 19? VME RACK FOR CS-3001 1 each, CLIN 0003 CS-3001 SOFTWARE LICENSE, 1 each. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Co mmercial, applies to this acquisition. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
