Description
NA 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The response date for receipt of quotes is an estimated date and is subject to change. The actual date and time for receipt of quotes will be specified in the solicitation document. The solicitation document will be available on or about 03 May 2002. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 541380 with a size standard of $5.0 million. The term size standard describes the numerical definition of a small business. In other words, a busin ess, including its affiliates, which has been in business for three or more complete fiscal years with annual average gross revenue of $5.0 million or below meets the size standard and is considered Small Business. Contractor MUST be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration prior to award of this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The work is located in the open sea, 0 to 3 miles offshore of Hunting Island, Beaufort County, SC. The proposed vibracores are in two areas bounded to the West by Hunting Island, to the North by Johnson Creek, to the South by Fripp Inlet, and to the East by the 3-mile limit. Working water depths are shallow and will generally be 3 feet to 15 feet. Some area s may be above water at low tide. The purpose of this work is to locate beach quality sand for future beach erosion control projects. A total of 43 vibracores will be performed.
