- NA The CROP is a cargo carrying platform suitable for use with the PLS and HEMTT Load Handling System (LHS), compatible for transport on the PLS and HEMTT LHS Trucks and PLS Trailer, and capable of transport inside any International Organization for Standardi zation (ISO) 1CC (8ft. wide by 8 ft. 6 inches high by 20 ft. long ISO container) steel, dry cargo container that has an internal width and door opening width of at least 91.75 inches and internal length from 231 to 232.5 inches. A CROP fully loaded with a mmunition supplies and miscellaneous unit equipment shall be capable of being inserted into and extracted from an ISO container using a PLS LHS, a forklift of appropriate capacity and convention material handling equipment (MHE). The Market Survey that was published prior to this pre-solicitation notice asked questions pertaining to hot-dipped galvanizing process, please note that this process will not be required to be performed on this CROP rebuy. See Note 1. The Solicitation (w hen released), the Purchase Description, and all other attachments associated with the CROP rebuy will be available for viewing at the website: http://contracting.tacom.army.mil/marjorsys/crop/crop.htm. The Solicitation is expected to be released within approximately 2 weeks from the date of this notice. The response date is tentative.
