- Description
- Region 10 of the US Forest Service is seeking qualified firms to provide Landscape Architectural Services on an as-needed, individual task order basis for Forest Service owned or managed sites and facilities. Architectural work, civil, electrical, environmental, geotechnical, mechanical, and/or structural engineering work, and/or exhibitry work may be incidental needs of individual orders. Work will be primarily on recreation-related sites and/or facilities on National Forest lands of Southeast and Southcentral Alaska. Work may include conducting surveys and assessments, performing planning and design services, preparing construction specifications and drawings, and providing construction assistance. Firms responding to this notice should be prepared to provide the full range of services. The Forest Service anticipates awarding one indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a one-year performance period and options for two additional years. The Scope of Services document is available by written or faxed request. Requests should reference R10-02-023. Telephone requests will not be honored. Firms that meet the requirements described in this notice are invited to submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 to US Forest Service Contracting Officer, Acquisition Management, Federal Building, 709 W. 9th St., Rm. 501-D, Juneau, AK, 99801, by close of business (4:30 p.m. Alaska time) on April 26, 2002. The applicable NAICS code and small business size standard are 541320 and $5.0 million, respectively. See FedBiz Numbered Notes, Note 24, for selection criteria and general submission requirements. A special selection criterion will be the prime contractor's demonstrated ability to work as a team with identified subcontractors. The intent is to award up to two (2) contracts.
