- Description
- The USDA Agriculture Research Service (ARS) requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided to install new city water service to the Wellington Farm Facility of the Plant Genetics Resources Unit, Geneva, New York. Work includes site preparation and restoration, provision of new underground utilities, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical to furnish and install 760 linear feet (+/-) of pipe including saddle tap of existing utility service, curb box valve, back flow prevention, environmentally controlled enclosure for devices interior hydrant, and tying into existing building service. Project also includes appropriate closing of an existing well and removal of existing underground/aboveground piping and miscellaneous plumbing items in the existing building. The ECC is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project must be completed within 60 days after receipt of notice to proceed, estimated to be given August 2000.
