- Description
- Defense Supply Center Richmond will modify contract SP0410-98-D-4043 to add three additional NSNs for Lubricating Oil, Engine manufactured in accordance to MIL-PRF-2104F. These are QPL items. DSCR will negotiate with Safety Kleen, the incumbent contractor, for the addition of these NSNs. Safety Kleen is an approved QPL producer of this oil and is the only known source that can provide pick up used motor oil, re-refine and blend the used oil, package the re-refined oil and delivery the oil nationwide in quarts, pails, drums and bulk. Additional NSNs for 10W Re-refined motor oil are 9150-01-496-1959 (quart); 9150-01-496-1948 (5 gal pail/can) and 9150-01-496-1943 (55 gal drum). Negotiations will be conducted with only Safety Kleen in accordance with the provisions of FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsibible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements".
