- DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supply commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13, with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation number N00181-02-Q-0356 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). NAIC 335912 with a standard size of 1000 employees. All deliverables shall be FOB Destination, NNSY Receiving Officers, Bldg. 276, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for CLIN 0001: Item Name: battery, NSN: 6135-01-070-2580, water activated in accordance with the following specifications: Terminal Quantity: 3, Terminal Type: wire lead, flexible, Overall Length: 6.500 inches nominal, Overall Height: 2.000 inches nominal, Overall Width: 2.000 inches nominal, Terminal Location: axially at one end, Ampere Hour Capacity: 1.40, Cell Quantity: 5, Plate Material: magnesium, Service Method: immersion in sea water, Voltage in Volts: 7.5, qty: 70 each. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The following apply: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (incorporating 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-19, 52.232-33, 52.232-36 as applicable;).
