- This solicitation is being advertised as a "HUBZONE SET-ASIDE". The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 23332. The Size Standard is $27.5, General Constructors-Nonresidental Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings And Warehouses. The work includes the renovation of the second floor conference room 245 to include demolition and new finishes including wood trim, furnishings, wood sliding doors, carpet, new ceilings, window treatments and custom casework as shown on drawings. Mechanical, electrical systems and audio-visual systems are also included as shown on drawings and incidental related work. The work shall be located at the Naval Hospital, Beaufort, S.C. The Government intends to issue the entire solicitation including plans and specifications on or about 01 May 2002. Viewing and downloading will be available at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective Offerors must register themselves on the website. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFEROR'S MUST REGISTER IN THE CCR DATA BASE AT www.ccr.gov. LACK OF REGISTRATION IN THE CCR DATA BASE WILL MAKE AN OFFEROR INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the web site. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. As an alternative to the web site, offerors may purchase copies of a compact disk (CD-ROM), containing the plans and specifications for an approximate fee of $15.00, from the Defense Automated Printing Services (DAPS), 2825 Avenue D, Suite B, North Charleston, S.C. 29408-1802.
