DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES This is a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the analysis, repair, service and maintenance of electrical building systems that may be used on a non-mandatory basis by federal government activities (including the VA, Air Force, Army, and Navy) as a source of supply and services for the scope of work described herein.This contract is primarily intended to provide the above services in federal government medical treatment facilities. Federal government activities in both CONUS and overseas may place orders against this contract. Contract award is targeted at qualified manufacturers of major electrical equipment components (i.e. switchgear, transformers, generators, transfer switches, etc.) who are capable of performing all aspects of a turn-key design-build process. The Government may extend the term of the contract for four additional option periods. In addition, the Government may increase the quantity of supplies or services called for in the Schedule.
