Description
The National Institute for Literacy's (NIFL) The Partnership for Reading (The Partnership) has a requirement for program support for (1) the production of a new publication series on effective state and local implementation of state and local reading programs funded under Title I, Part B (Reading First and Early Reading First) of the No Child Left Behind Act (P.L. 107-110) and the Reading Excellence Act (P.L. 105-277); and (2) the production of presentation materials and presentation of findings of one publication at a national conference. Tasks for the requirement include researching, writing, and assisting with disseminating four reports; and preparing presentation materials and submitting a proposal to present findings related to at least one published report. Alternatively, the contractor may coordinate and moderate a panel of experts to discuss the selected published report. The Partnership represents the collaborative effort of four Federal agencies that share a common mission to enrich and inform the American educational system with evidence-based reading research. All requests for the RFP shall reference the RFP number ED-02-Q-0005. The expected release date of this RFP is on or about 5/2/02 and the closing date is 6/3/02. All requests shall reference the RFP number and the title of the RFP. The RFP and attachments can also be found online at http://www.nifl.gov/nifl/grants_contracts/contracts.html when the RFP has been issued. Copies of the RFP may be picked up in person on the issue date at the same address. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses (for this simplified acquisition, individuals are considered a small business concern).
